Shift Incharge - Warehouse - Battery, Hosur

Shift 1 - 6am to 2:45 PM Shift 2 - 3PM to 11:45 PM General - 9am to 6pm We need someone from Automotive or manufacturing background and BE+ Warehouse and logistics with inventory management at auto OEM. BE Graduate with 3-5 Years with sound experience in warehouse management, warehouse operations, inventory management, experience in managing blue collar workforce.Job Description: Managing and overseeing teams in shifts taking care of receiving, handling, GRN processing, put away, picking, line issuance, scrap movement, return of rejected materials to vendors and parts issuance for subcontracted assembly parts, proto/ trial requirements and aftermarket requirements.Train and manage the warehouse support team members to solve day-to-day operational issues. Work closely with operations team in achieving Warehouse Key Performance Indicators [KPIs] Root Cause analysis for deviation in KPIs and fixing the issues with corrective&preventive actions Maintaining necessary Management Information Systems [MIS] for better visibility Coach and train zone leaders to ensure adherence to SOPs by all team members Resource Planning&Rooster management for daily shift operations and attendance tracking Team engagement activities to keep up employee morale and recognising good performance Maintain overall 5S and safety requirements across warehouse Engage in new projects/ initiatives and ensure sustenance of those initiatives through regular review and feedbackHere's what we are looking for : 4-6 Years of experience in warehouse functions and team management. Decent knowledge of SAP WM module and applications of MIS systems Good Interpersonal&communication skills Good Problem solving skills using Lean problem solving techniques like 8D, Fishbone, etc. Basic knowledge of Lean principles Some attributes that you bring to this role Good leadership skills in leading a team of 30-40 associates Goal oriented and enjoy working with cross functional teamsOptimistic and comfortable in embracing changes Ability to accept constructive feedback from peers Exploring new avenues for continuous improvement : Any undergraduate degree preferably B.E/B.Tech
