TEAL-Engineer Project (Hosur)

Job Requirements

The project Engineer will lead and support the development of new aerospace products from concept through production. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that new products meet performance, quality, cost, and regulatory requirements while adhering to aerospace industry standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Product Development:
- Drive the end-to-end development of aerospace components and systems, including design, prototyping, testing, and validation.
- Translate customer and regulatory requirements into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with design, Process planners and Assembly teams to ensure product integrity.
- Project Management:
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with internal teams (BD, manufacturing, quality, supply chain) and Customers
- Track project milestones and report progress to stakeholders.
- Technical Documentation & Compliance:
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation including drawings, BOMs, and test reports.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace standards such as AS9100.
- Support certification and qualification processes.
- Manufacturing Support:
- Work with production teams to ensure manufacturability and scalability of new designs.
- Conduct PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) reviews.
- Resolve technical issues during pilot runs and production ramp-up
- Identify and mitigate technical and operational risks. Work Experience
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Aeronautical or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in aerospace product development and Project Management.
- Hands-on experience with CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks) and SAP systems.
- Familiarity with aerospace systems such as structures, interiors, or avionics is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of aerospace materials, processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in tools like Solid Works, Excel, Power Point ( MS project is added advantage).
- Certifications (Preferred):
- PMP or any other equivalent certifications. Desirable Traits:
