Capex & Projects Engineer (Hosur)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Requirements Strong knowledge of Capex budgeting, procurement planning, processing, and asset managementExperience in vendor evaluation, technical validation of materials, and optimization of Capex project costingExpertise in machinery and equipment procurement, including life cycle cost analysisGood understanding of utility systems such as HT & LT power systems, switchgears, control panels, DG sets, air compressors, HVAC systems, gas generators, lighting, fire alarm systems, network systems, and telecommunication systemsProficiency in Tamil, English, and Hindi is highly preferredWork Experience Knowledge Required: Coordinate with stakeholders for consolidation of Capex budget requirementsPrepare material costings, Bill of Materials (BOM), and conduct vendor validationDevelop and prepare MPR and e-bidding documents for planned procurementsDesign and implement Capex procurement cost control strategies to optimize cash outflowCollaborate with internal stakeholders including Maintenance, Engineering Services, Purchase, Finance, Admin, HR, and Safety teamsConduct pre-dispatch inspections at vendor locations for critical machinery and equipmentSupport installation and commissioning of recent machinery and equipment, including documentation, inwarding, service reports, and payment processingCoordinate with Capex audit teams and ensure compliance with audit observationsValidate machinery, equipment, materials, and products, including warranty terms, claims, and penalty clausesExecute infrastructure and other Capex projects across multiple sites in IndiaEnsure adherence to ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 18001, 45001)Manage MIS reporting with daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly updates for HoD, MRM, and stakeholdersParticipate in exhibitions, seminars, webinars, and technical training programs for continuous skill enhancementProvide training to stakeholders on Capex processes, project features, operations, and maintenanceSkills Required: Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD, and Architectural CAD toolsHands-on experience with ERP systems such as Oracle and SAP Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.in/job/4n0zwc
