Job Description

Position: Senior Software Engineering Project Manager

Experience: 10+ Years

Location: Bengaluru

Notice Period: Immediate joiner or max 30days Key Responsibilities


- Drive end-to-end software development, testing, and release activities across multiple engineering teams.


- Coordinate software, system, and manufacturing test execution activities.


- Manage and track deliverables related to automotive compliance and validation requirements.


- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define project scope, priorities, timelines, and milestones.


- Identify program risks, dependencies, and technical roadblocks while ensuring timely resolution.


- Monitor project progress and communicate status updates, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership and stakeholders.


- Lead technical review meetings, design discussions, status reviews, and release planning sessions.


- Ensure software releases meet quality, performance, and schedule expectations.


- Support Agile program management practices and continuous process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications


- 10+ years of experience in Software Project/Program Management.


- Robust experience coordinating QA, Test Automation, V&V;/KPI Testing, and System Characterization activities.


- Proven experience managing complex software projects within tight delivery schedules.


- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), release management, and testing methodologies.


- Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, JAMA, Confluence, Smartsheets , and Spreadsheets.


- Experience working in Agile development environments.


- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.


- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications


- Knowledge of automotive standards and processes such as ASPICE, Functional Safety ( FuSa ), and Cybersecurity.


- Exposure to scripting or automation tools is an added advantage.


- Experience working with embedded systems, automotive software, or autonomous technologies is preferred.
