Design Engineer – Mould Design | Tool Room Qualification: Diploma / BE / PG Diploma in Tool Design Experience: 2–5 Years Preferred Background: NTTF / CIPET / Reputed Tool Design Institutes
- Independently design medium to complex injection moulds and electrodes.
- Prepare DFM reports, 3D mould designs, and 2D manufacturing drawings.
- Create BOMs, child parts, and electrode designs.
- Review, verify, and release mould designs as per standards.
- Conduct self-checks to ensure design accuracy, functionality, and manufacturability.
- Guide junior designers in concept development, detailing, and drawing creation.
- Support mould design reviews and provide technical solutions for complex features.
- Ensure adherence to design standards, schedules, and document control requirements.
- Maintain design records, engineering data, and design hour tracking.
- Coordinate with manufacturing and project teams to ensure smooth execution.
