Design Engineer – Mould Design | Tool Room Qualification: Diploma / BE / PG Diploma in Tool Design Experience: 2–5 Years Preferred Background: NTTF / CIPET / Reputed Tool Design Institutes Independently design medium to complex injection moulds and electrodes . Prepare DFM reports, 3D mould designs, and 2D manufacturing drawings. Create BOMs, child parts, and electrode designs. Review, verify, and release mould designs as per standards. Conduct self-checks to ensure design accuracy, functionality, and manufacturability. Guide junior designers in concept development, detailing, and drawing creation. Support mould design reviews and provide technical solutions for complex features. Ensure adherence to design standards, schedules, and document control requirements. Maintain design records, engineering data, and design hour tracking. Coordinate with manufacturing and project teams to ensure smooth execution.
