Manager NPD (Hosur)

Role & responsibilities 1. Responsible for New Product Development ( NPD ) 2. As part of NPD responsible the entire process from understanding customer drawing to delivering the prototype and getting the approval. This will include in house coordination as well as supplier / vendor coordination , developing required tools and fixtures etc., 3. Establish cost effective processes and suggest cost reduction measures 4. Prepare PPAP documentation 5. Coordinate with all departments in ensuring timely delivery of samples to customer. 6. Develop vendors and manage existing vendors by effectively utilizing their capacity. 7. Negotiate with vendors to get lowest price, best quality and prompt delivery. 8. Maintain cordial industrial relations. 9. Ensure implementation of TS 16949. 10. Coordinate with third party inspection agencies and customer Inspection. Preferred candidate profile Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering / 7 to 10 years technical experience in manufacturing tubular component, sheet metal, fabrication and hydraulic hoses.
- Positive understanding of processes.
- Should be having good Techno Commercial knowledge.
