Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatrician to join our hospital’s healthcare team. This role is vital in ensuring the health and well-being of infants, children, and adolescents through comprehensive medical care, preventive services, and emergency response. The Pediatrician will play a key role in diagnosing and managing a wide range of pediatric conditions, from common illnesses to complex congenital disorders. Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments for infants, children, and adolescents.

- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions, including respiratory infections, gastrointestinal disorders, developmental delays, and congenital anomalies.

- Monitor growth and development through regular assessments, milestone tracking, nutritional evaluations, and timely referrals for early intervention.

- Administer and meticulously document all recommended vaccinations and immunizations in alignment with national and institutional guidelines.

- Respond swiftly and effectively to pediatric emergencies such as respiratory distress, trauma, seizures, and critical illness.

- Provide specialized care in NICU/PICU settings, including neonatal resuscitation, ventilator management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

- Offer empathetic and clear guidance to parents on child health, nutrition, behavioral development, and preventive care strategies.

- Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure full compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.

- Engage in hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives, case reviews, and clinical audits to enhance patient outcomes.

- Commit to ongoing professional development by participating in training, workshops, and staying current with evolving pediatric best practices.

Requirements:

- MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics (MD/DPB or equivalent).

- Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (or relevant regulatory body).

- Demonstrated experience in pediatric care, including exposure to neonatal and pediatric emergency settings.

- Proficiency in managing common and complex pediatric conditions, including developmental and chronic disease management.

- Solid clinical documentation skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with patients and families.

- Willingness to work in high-pressure environments and respond effectively during emergencies.

- Commitment to continuous learning and adherence to clinical guidelines and safety protocols.
