Job Description – R&D; Executive / Chemist Location: Mangalia, Indore, Madhya Pradesh Industry: Synthetic Resin Manufacturing / Chemical Manufacturing Company Profile We are a 50+ years old, well-established manufacturing company engaged in the production of synthetic resins and industrial chemical products. We are looking for a technically sound, analytical, and process-oriented R&D; Executive / Chemist who can support product development activities, maintain quality standards, and contribute towards continuous improvement in products and manufacturing processes. Key ResponsibilitiesResearch & Product Development
- Assist in development of recent synthetic resin products under the guidance of the Department Head.
- Conduct laboratory trials, experiments, and product development activities as per customer and market requirements.
- Support fine-tuning and modification of existing products to improve quality, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Participate in product improvement initiatives and technical troubleshooting activities. Sample Preparation & Quality Control
- Conduct quality testing and QC analysis of developed samples and trial batches.
- Ensure all samples are tested as per defined specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with production and QC departments during product trials and approvals.
- Maintain proper sample records, retain samples, and test reports. Documentation & Data Management
- Prepare and maintain log sheets, development records, trial reports, and laboratory documentation.
- Maintain database and history of developed samples, formulations, observations, and test results.
- Ensure proper documentation as per ISO systems and company procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of formulations, technical data, and development activities. ISO & Process Compliance
- Follow ISO procedures, laboratory protocols, and quality management systems.
- Ensure adherence to safety practices, chemical handling norms, and laboratory discipline.
- Maintain cleanliness, calibration records, and proper storage of chemicals and samples. Process Improvement & Automation Support
- Suggest improvements for process optimization, product consistency, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute ideas for process automation and reduction of manual intervention in laboratory and production activities.
- Support implementation of productivity and quality improvement initiatives. Coordination & Timely Execution
- Coordinate with R&D;, production, QC, and management teams for smooth execution of development projects.
- Ensure adherence to assigned timelines for sample development, testing, and reporting.
- Provide regular updates to department head regarding project progress and observations. Desired Candidate Profile
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Industrial Chemistry, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in R&D;, QC, or laboratory operations preferably in synthetic resin, paints, coatings, adhesives, or chemical manufacturing industry.
- Good understanding of laboratory practices, chemical handling, and testing procedures.
- Knowledge of ISO documentation and quality systems preferred.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of process improvement and automation concepts.
- Proficiency in MS Office and laboratory record management. Preferred Qualities

- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Process-oriented and disciplined working style.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new product development requirements.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
