Role Overview We are looking for a results-driven and experienced Production Manager to oversee daily operations at our wheat processing (aata) plant. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in flour milling or grain processing, a strong understanding of production workflows, and the ability to lead a team while ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities Production & Operations Plan, schedule, and oversee daily wheat milling and aata production to meet output targets Monitor machine operations including cleaning, conditioning, milling, and sifting units Coordinate raw material (wheat) intake, storage, and feed into the milling process Ensure consistent flour yield, extraction rates, and product specifications are met Identify production bottlenecks and implement process improvements Quality & Compliance Maintain quality standards as per BIS, FSSAI, or company-specific norms Oversee sampling, testing, and documentation of finished product (atta, maida, suji, bran, etc.) Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols across the plant Coordinate with the QC team to resolve product quality deviations Team & Resource Management Lead and manage a team of machine operators, supervisors, and floor workers Conduct daily shift briefings, monitor attendance, and assign tasks efficiently Train plant staff on equipment operation, safety procedures, and SOPs Manage shift scheduling to ensure uninterrupted 24/7 or multi-shift operations Maintenance & Safety Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance with the engineering team Ensure all machinery (roller mills, purifiers, plansifters, bran finishers) is ma Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.in/job/4lphcf
