Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager from the furniture or bulky goods industry to manage end-to-end warehouse operations, ensure strict ERP compliance, and drive efficient customer order fulfilment. The ideal candidate should have strong inventory control skills, hands-on ERP experience, and the ability to manage teams and customer expectations effectively. Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
- Manage daily warehouse activities: inward, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch
- Ensure safe handling and proper stacking of furniture and marble items
- Minimize damage during loading/unloading and transportation
- Maintain warehouse discipline and process adherence ERP & Inventory Control (Mandatory)
- Ensure 100% ERP compliance for all stock movements
- No material movement without ERP entry
- Handle ERP transactions for:
- GRN / Purchase Inward
- Sales Dispatch
- Inter-warehouse Transfers
- Display Stock Movement
- Material Issued for Installation
- Sales Returns & Replacements
- Damaged / Rejected Stock
- Perform daily physical vs system stock reconciliation
- Report and resolve stock mismatches Retail Display & Store Coordination
- Manage display stock through ERP
- Coordinate with sales team for display planning and rotation
- Maintain separate tracking of display inventory Order Fulfilment & Logistics
- Plan dispatches as per delivery commitments
- Coordinate transport and optimize delivery routes
- Align installation/fitter teams in advance
- Ensure documentation accuracy before dispatch
- Reduce repeat dispatch and operational losses Inventory Audit & Control
- Conduct regular physical stock audits
- Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Maintain audit records and documentation Customer Complaint Handling
- Coordinate with customer support team for issue resolution
- Arrange replacement/repair materials on priority
- Track all complaint-related movements in ERP
- Monitor complaint closure timelines (TAT)
- Identify recurring issues and implement improvements
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse management (Furniture/Retail preferred)
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse processes
- Mandatory hands-on ERP experience
- Good Excel skills (MIS, reporting, reconciliation)
- Experience in handling retail display stock
- Knowledge of logistics planning and installation coordination
- Solid leadership and team management skills
- Ability to handle pressure and customer escalations
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Inventory Accuracy (%)
- ERP Compliance (Target: 100%)
- On-Time Delivery Rate
- Customer Complaint Closure TAT
- Reduction in Repeat Dispatch Cost
- Stock Mismatch Reduction
- Damage Control Ratio Pay: ₹20,000.00
