Interested candidates, kindly mail toMain PurposeThe Senior Process Engineer is responsible for reviewing process designs, conducting technical studies and analyses, solving process-related issues, troubleshooting, optimizing plant performance, and implementing best practices. The role also ensures safety and regulatory compliance while sharing knowledge and expertise with team members./Job Accountabilities- Design and develop process systems, including equipment selection and layout.- Perform technical studies, analyses, and simulations to optimize plant performance.- Identify technical issues and ensure timely resolution.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project execution.- Conduct technical evaluation and field verification of MOC proposals to ensure risk mitigation.- Participate in PSSR field activities to capture process-related observations.- Assist in basic/detail
engineering, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities for upcoming projects.- Prepare technical reports and cost-benefit analyses for ongoing projects.- Utilize risk assessment tools such as HIRA, What-If, and HAZOP studies.- Demonstrate proficiency in process and data analysis tools such as Pipesim, OLGA, and Aspen.- Conduct root cause analysis for failure investigations using tools such as Why-Why analysis.- Verify controlled documents and ensure obsolete documents are removed from the portal.- Provide training and technical guidance to team members for competency development.- Ensure deliverables comply with the Operating Management System.- Possess operational experience in alarm management and alarm rationalization.- Prepare SOPs, SMPs, and KPIs, and conduct periodic reviews through job cycle checks.- Carry out Pre-Start-Up Safety Reviews (PSSR) for recent projects and equipment.- Interpret cause & effect diagrams, SOC, alarm & trip registers, and design conditions.- Possess knowledge of SCADA systems and their operating features.- Have experience in Technical Services with strong capability in interpreting technical data.Skills Required:- Strong expertise in process engineering fundamentals, including mass & energy balance, thermodynamics, and chemical reactions.- Knowledge of national and international standards, regulations, and their applicability.- Experience in process simulation and modeling tools such as Aspen Plus, HYSYS, BowTie, PHAST, or similar software.- Ability to provide technical expertise and support for plant operations and maintenance.Experience and Qualification:- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).- Minimum 6 years of experience in upstream Oil & Gas (E&P;) and project design environments.Interested candidates, kindly mail to Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.in/job/4m9n0l
