- Responsibilities:
- Product Development &
- Innovation.
- Lead development of baby diapers, adult diapers, and sanitary hygiene products.
- Design and improve product components such as absorbent core, SAP, nonwoven fabrics, back sheets, acquisition layers, tapes, and elastics.
- Develop new formulations and structures for better absorption, comfort, leakage control, and skin safety.
- Customize products as per market requirements and customer feedback.
- Testing of Market &
- Home sample for Benchmarking.
- R&D; Lab Equipment set up & maintenance.
- Research &
- Testing:
- Conduct laboratory testing for absorbency, rewet, leakage, tensile strength, and comfort.
- Benchmark products against competitors and global standards.
- Analyse raw materials for quality, compatibility, and performance.
- Use of Analytical tools with Data form testing.
- Process &
- Cost Optimization:
- Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure smooth scale-up from lab to commercial production.
- Optimize BOM (Bill of Materials) to reduce cost without compromising quality.
- Improve machine efficiency, waste reduction, and yield improvement.
- Quality &
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with BIS, ISO, FDI, and hygiene product standards.
- Support audits, certifications, and regulatory documentation.
- Address quality complaints through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Vendor &
- Material Development:
- Evaluate and approve raw material suppliers (SAP, nonwoven, adhesives, films).
- Collaborate with vendors for new material trials and innovations.
- Team &
- Project Management:
- Lead and mentor R&D; engineers, chemists, and technicians.
- Manage multiple R&D; projects with defined timelines and budgets.
