Sr. Engineer / Ass. Manager - Paint shop Production (Indore)

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced professional for the role of Sr. Engineer / Assistant Manager Paint Shop Production for a leading Automotive company. The candidate will be responsible for handling paint shop operations, achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards, and improving process efficiency. Role & responsibilities
- Handle complete Paint Shop production operations and shift activities.
- Ensure achievement of daily production targets as per production plan.
- Monitor and control paint shop process parameters for quality consistency.
- Handle powder coating / liquid painting / pretreatment activities.
- Ensure proper surface finish and paint quality standards.
- Coordinate with PPC, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Production teams for smooth operations.
- Monitor rejection, rework, paint consumption, and productivity improvements.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions for process-related issues.
- Drive TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities.
- Ensure adherence to safety and operational standards in the paint shop.
- Maintain shift reports, production MIS, downtime records, and process documentation.
- Support new product trials and process development activities. Preferred candidate profile
- Experience in Automotive Manufacturing industry preferred.
- Robust knowledge of Paint Shop production and process control.
- Hands-on experience in powder coating / liquid painting systems.
- Knowledge of quality standards, lean manufacturing, TPM, and 5S.
- Good team handling, communication, and problem-solving skills.
