Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Manager Warehouse & Logistics role based in Pithampur. The role involves overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching materials and finished goods in alignment with company standards. The Assistant Manager will manage inventory levels, monitor stock movement, and ensure accurate documentation in systems and physical records. Responsibilities include coordinating logistics with transport partners, optimizing load planning, and ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries to customers and internal stakeholders. The role will also involve supervising warehouse staff, enforcing safety and compliance procedures, maintaining equipment, and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service quality. Qualifications
- Solid stock control and inventory control skills to maintain accurate records and prevent stock discrepancies.
- Hands-on experience with inventory management and warehouse operations management to ensure smooth material flow.
- Knowledge of forklift operation and safe material handling practices (valid certification or willingness to obtain it is an advantage).
- Experience in logistics coordination, including vehicle planning, routing, and vendor management.
- Familiarity with SAP or warehouse management systems and basic proficiency in MS Excel or similar tools.
- Proven ability to lead and supervise warehouse teams, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and capacity to work under time-sensitive conditions.
