Job Title: AccountantDepartment: Finance & AccountsReports To: Finance Manager / Accounts HeadJob Summary The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate books of accounts, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements. This role plays a key part in supporting decision-making by providing reliable financial information.

Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, and payments). Prepare and reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Manage general ledger entries, journal vouchers, and monthly closing activities. Assist in preparing financial statements such as P&L;, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow. Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, PF/ESI, and other statutory requirements. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation. Monitor and manage petty cash and employee reimbursements. Assist in budget preparation and expense monitoring. Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams for financial matters. Generate periodic MIS and financial performance reports for management review.

Required Skills Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP, SAP, or similar) and MS Excel. Valuable understanding of taxation and statutory compliances. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Attention to detail with accuracy in work. Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field B.Com. Qualified certifications (CA Inter, ICWA, MBA Finance) will be an added advantage. Experience : 0 to 2 years
