Company Description About the Company Stockwell Solar Services Pvt. Ltd. (SSSPL) is a clean energy company founded in 2017 by IIT alumni, delivering solar and energy storage solutions through OPEX / RESCO and CAPEX models. We manage 250+ MW of operational IPP Solar assets with a pipeline of 1,000+ MW in Solar & BESS projects under development. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement Manager (Power Systems) located in Jaipur. We are looking for a seasoned procurement professional to lead sourcing for our utility-scale solar PV, BESS, and grid evacuation projects. The role involves working closely with our design and engineering team to translate equipment ratings and technical requirements into well-structured procurement packages, while keeping a sharp eye on market availability, OEM lead times, and commercial outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement for EHV/MV/LV switchgear and BOS equipment for utility-scale solar and RE projects.
- Partner with the design team to firm up equipment ratings, GTPs, and specifications; read SLDs and engineering drawings to develop accurate BOQs and procurement packages.
- Maintain a live view of market availability and OEM lead times across categories, and build sourcing plans that align with project milestones.
- Lead negotiations with OEMs and vendors on technical particulars, commercial terms, payment milestones, LD/PV clauses, and warranties.
- Track copper, aluminium, and steel indices (LME/MCX/IEEMA) for price variation settlements and manage commodity risk in long-cycle orders.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, QA/QC, and Site teams to align procurement schedules with construction milestones.
- Monitor order execution, expedite deliveries, manage inspections (FAT/SAT), and resolve quality or delivery issues with vendors.
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of procurement experience in Power transmission or renewable energy.
- Strong working knowledge of EHV (220/132/66 k V) and MV/LV equipment — transformers, GIS/AIS switchgear, CTs/PTs, isolators, lightning arrestors, control & relay panels.
- Ability to read SLDs, layouts, and derive BOQs independently.
- Established relationships with leading OEMs in the Indian power and renewable space.
