Store Manager – Indiehouse Concept Store Indiehouse is a multi-brand lifestyle concept store bringing together fashion, accessories, home, art, and culture under one roof. Along with our carefully curated retail experience, we’ve now expanded into a café space — creating a vibrant destination where people come to shop, work, meet, discover, and experience community. We are looking for a highly agile and experienced Store Manager who can lead operations across retail and café, build strong teams, create exceptional customer experiences, and work closely with the founders to grow Indiehouse into one of Jaipur’s leading lifestyle destinations. Position: Store Manager Location: Jaipur Type: Full-Time Role Overview The Store Manager will be responsible for the overall functioning, growth, and energy of the store. This role goes beyond traditional retail management — we are looking for someone who understands hospitality, lifestyle retail, customer psychology, team leadership, visual merchandising, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is highly organized, people-oriented, proactive, commercially strong, and capable of creating a premium yet warm customer experience across both the retail and café environments. Key Responsibilities
- Store & Operations Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the entire concept store including retail and café operations
- Ensure smooth coordination between retail staff, café staff, inventory teams, and founders
- Maintain high standards of store presentation, cleanliness, VM, ambience, music, and customer experience
- Create systems and SOPs for efficient store functioning
- Handle store opening/closing procedures, vendor coordination, maintenance, and operational troubleshooting Team Leadership:
- Lead, train, motivate, and manage the retail and café teams
- Build a strong culture of professionalism, warmth, accountability, and energy
- Conduct staff training on customer interaction, sales, product knowledge, and hospitality
- Manage staff schedules, attendance, performance reviews, and hiring support
- Ensure the team maintains high energy and excellent customer engagement at all times Customer Experience & Sales:
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience that reflects the Indiehouse brand identity
- Build relationships with regular customers and high-value clients
- Handle escalations, customer feedback, and service recovery professionally
- Drive sales performance and achieve monthly targets
- Identify opportunities to improve conversion, repeat customers, and overall store revenue Brand & Merchandising Management:
- Coordinate with multiple partner brands and ensure proper representation in-store
- Monitor inventory movement, replenishment, stock display, and product performance
- Work closely with founders on launches, pop-ups, events, collaborations, and activations
- Maintain solid visual merchandising standards across categories Café Coordination:
- Oversee café service quality and customer experience
- Coordinate with café staff for smooth daily functioning
- Ensure hygiene, service standards, and café ambience are maintained
- Work with the team to create a seamless integration between retail and café experiences Strategy & Founder Collaboration:
- Work directly with the founders on business growth and customer engagement strategies
- Share ideas for improving store experience, community building, events, and operations
- Analyze sales trends, customer behaviour, and operational performance
- Take ownership and think like a business leader rather than just an employee Requirements:
- 4–8+ years of experience in retail, hospitality, lifestyle, fashion, café, or concept-store management
- Strong leadership and team management experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of premium customer experience and hospitality
- Experience handling multi-brand retail operations is preferred
- Highly organized, proactive, and solution-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Strong aesthetic sense and understanding of lifestyle retail
- Ability to manage both operational details and larger business goals Ideal Candidate
