Database Engineer (Jaipur)

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Database Engineer with 2+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining reliable, scalable database systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with application developers and infrastructure teams to ensure data integrity, performance, and availability across platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and schema design
- Monitor database health, capacity, and security
- Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
- Ensure data consistency, integrity, and availability
- Collaborate with software engineers to support application data needs
- Troubleshoot database-related issues and perform root cause analysis
- Automate routine database tasks and deployments where possible
- Maintain database documentation and standards Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Database Engineer, DBA, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database design principles
- Hands-on experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or MongoDB
- Experience with query optimization and performance tuning
- Familiarity with backup, replication, and high availability solutions
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix systems
- Understanding of data security, access control, and compliance best practices
