Interior Design&Procurement Intern, Jaipur

About the role: We are looking for a hands-on Interior Design Intern to work on a premium office and residential project in Jaipur (NRI Colony). The role is focused on design research, material selection, and vendor sourcing, helping us execute a high-quality home with efficiency and consistency.You will get the opportunity to: Work closely with an popular Jaipur-based architect Collaborate with a senior designer based internationally (remote coordination) This is not a typical passive internship. You will be expected to own tasks and drive decisions forward. Key responsibilities:Research and shortlist materials (tiles, sanitary, lighting, fittings, etc.) Present maximum 3 curated options per requirement with clear pros/cons Create simple visual renderings / combinations to help decision-making Identify and coordinate with local vendors in Jaipur Collect pricing, check availability, and compare optionsSupport site execution by coordinating with vendors and site supervisor Maintain a consistent design theme across the house Share regular progress updates and track pending decisions Who can apply: Students or recent graduates in Interior Design / Architecture / Design-related fields Based in JaipurStrong interest in residential design and materials Good research and communication skills Ability to think practically, not just creatively Preferred skills (good to have): Basic knowledge of materials (tiles, stones, fittings, etc.) Familiarity with tools like SketchUp, Canva, or similar Ability to create quick visual references / layoutsVendor coordination or field exposure (even academic) What you will learn: Real-world residential project execution Material selection and cost optimization Vendor sourcing and negotiation basics Translating design ideas into actual on-site execution Internship details: Location: Jaipur (NRI Colony / Jagatpura area)Duration: 1 month Stipend:₹20,000/month Working: Flexible, with a combination of remote work and regular on-site involvement Important note: We are looking for someone who can: Take ownership Think in structured options Reduce decision time, not increase it If you enjoy working on real projects and want hands-onexposure, this role will give you strong learning and responsibility.
