Summary

Pinnacle Group is seeking an experienced ETL Manager who brings a robust blend of hands-on technical expertise and leadership capability. This role will oversee the design, development, and optimization of ETL processes while managing a team of developers. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with SQL, Azure Data Factory (ADF), SSIS, and data modeling, along with a proven background in leading data engineering teams. This is a critical role driving both delivery excellence and technical strategy.

Job Description

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of ETL developers, ensuring high-quality deliverables and professional growth

Design, develop, and oversee ETL pipelines using SSIS and Azure Data Factory (ADF)

Provide hands-on support in building and optimizing complex SQL queries and data transformations

Define and enforce best practices for ETL development, data integration, and performance optimization

Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions

Oversee data modeling and data warehouse design to support enterprise reporting and analytics

Monitor ETL workflows, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity

Drive performance tuning initiatives across ETL processes, including indexing, partitioning, and query optimization

Support cloud data strategy and contribute to modernization efforts within Azure environments
