General Manager / Chief General Manager - Supply Chain Management 15 - 20 Jaipur (HO) Full-Time Job Description– GM / CGM - SCM Location: Jaipur HO Department: Supply Chain Management (SCM) HG Infra is seeking an experienced and result-oriented professional to lead the Supply Chain Management function for both Materials Procurement and Services/Subcontracting operations. The role will be responsible for driving strategic sourcing, procurement planning, vendor development, subcontract management, commercial negotiations, and supply chain optimization to support business and project requirements effectively.The incumbent will play a key role in ensuring cost efficiency, quality compliance, timely availability of materials and services, and strong vendor partnerships across the organization’s operations. Key Responsibilities Procurement&Sourcing - Lead end-to-end procurement activities for construction materials, plant&machinery requirements, consumables, equipment, and project-related services/subcontracts. - Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with organizational cost, quality, and delivery objectives. - Manage procurement planning in coordination with project, contracts, finance, and operations teams.- Drive strategic vendor sourcing, benchmarking, and market intelligence for optimum commercial advantage. - Ensure timely procurement and uninterrupted supply of materials and services across projects and business locations. Services&Subcontract Management - Handle onboarding, evaluation, and management of subcontractors,
service providers, consultants, and key vendors. - Review and negotiate commercial terms, work orders, rate contracts, and service agreements. - Coordinate with Contracts, Legal, and Project teams for subcontract execution and compliance monitoring.- Monitor subcontractor performance, billing coordination, dispute handling, and commercial closure processes. - Support claim management, contractual compliance, and resolution of commercial issues related to services and subcontracting. - Build and maintain a strong vendor ecosystem to ensure competitiveness, reliability, and scalability.- Lead commercial negotiations for pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual obligations. - Conduct vendor performance reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives. - Identify opportunities for cost optimization, value
engineering, and procurement process enhancement.- Ensure transparency, governance, and compliance in procurement and vendor management practices. Process&Stakeholder Management - Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Projects, Planning, Finance, Contracts, QA/QC, and Stores teams. - Monitor procurement MIS, budgeting, inventory coordination, and supply chain performance metrics. - Ensure adherence to company policies, procurement procedures, and statutory/compliance requirements.- Lead and mentor SCM teams to enhance operational efficiency and process discipline. Desired Candidate Profile - Graduate/Postgraduate in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field. MBA preferred. - 15–20 years of relevant experience in Procurement / SCM functions within Infrastructure, EPC, Construction, or related industries.- Strong exposure to both material procurement and subcontract/services procurement functions. - Experience in handling high-value procurement, strategic sourcing, subcontracting, and vendor negotiations. - Strong commercial acumen with understanding of contracts, billing processes, and project procurement cycles.- Proficiency in ERP/SCM systems and procurement analytics. - Excellent negotiation, leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
