Table Tennis Coach (Jalandhar)

The Punjab Table Tennis Association invites applications for the position of Coach for its High Performance Athlete Development Program based at the Hansraj Table Tennis Hall, Jalandhar, Punjab. The PTTA is establishing a long-term elite development system focused on identifying and training high-potential athletes in the U-11, U-13 and U-17 age categories, with the objective of producing national champions, Indian team players and future Olympic-level athletes. The role requires a technically advanced, disciplined and athlete-centric coach capable of building a structured high-performance pathway for junior athletes. SALARY: Minimum Salary of Rs. 50,000 p.m. and further negotiable and no bar for highly suitable candidate with elite coaching credentials and proven athlete development record. LOCATION: Hansraj Table Tennis Hall, Jalandhar, Punjab APPLICATIONS: Interested candidates may email their CV, coaching certifications, athlete development profile and achievements to: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: (a) Design and implement a long-term high-performance coaching program for U-11, U-13 and U-17 athletes (b) Conduct advanced technical and tactical table tennis training sessions (c) Develop structured athlete progression systems from grassroots to national level competition (d) Identify and nurture high-potential athletes for national and international participation (e) Develop match strategy, competitive temperament and tournament preparation systems (f) Conduct multi-ball training, footwork systems and advanced match simulation drills (g) Coordinate with strength & conditioning coaches, physiotherapists and PTTA administration (h) Mentor and supervise assistant and junior coaches (i) Maintain athlete performance tracking and development reports (j) Assist PTTA in preparation for National Ranking Tournaments, State Championships and talent scouting programs MANDATORY / PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (a) ITTF Level 2 or ITTF Level 3 Coaching Certification preferred (b) NIS Diploma in Table Tennis from Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports, Patiala preferred (c) Former national-level or international-level playing/coaching experience preferred (d) Minimum 510 years of coaching experience with competitive junior athletes (e) Proven record of developing athletes participating in National Championships / National Ranking events preferred (f) Strong understanding of contemporary international table tennis systems, biomechanics, footwork and match analytics (g) Experience working in high-performance or academy environments advantageous (h) Ability to work within a structured long-term athlete development model Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.in/job/4m3w1q
