Role Overview: The Time Zone Lead is accountable for end-to-end operational delivery, governance execution, and regional leadership for SME and Channel programs within an assigned time zone (APAC or EMEA). In addition to owning all Deal Clinic and Investment Governance deliverables, this role oversees delivery execution in-region, manages escalations, ensures SLA adherence, and serves as the primary connective tissue across APAC, EMEA, and AMS to ensure global consistency, handoffs, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Regional Delivery Leadership & Execution
•Own end-to-end delivery quality and execution for Deal Clinic and Investment Governance within the assigned time zone.
•Act as the primary escalation point for operational issues, risks, exception scenarios, and stakeholder concerns within the region.
•Ensure consistent application of global standards, governance guardrails, and operating rhythms across APAC, EMEA, and AMS.
•Partner with global leads to support follow-the-sun coverage, seamless handoffs, and continuity of work across regions.
•Provide regional performance insights, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
Deal Clinic Operations (Inherited & Accountable)
•Oversee and ensure high-quality execution of end-to-end Deal Clinic intake, triage, scheduling, and documentation.
•Ensure complex, high-risk, or exception deals are appropriately routed and prepared, protecting leadership time and aligning the right SMEs.
•Maintain accountability for weekly agendas, calendars, stakeholder communications, and per-deal Teams collaboration spaces.
•Ensure standardized one-pagers and pre-reads are consistently produced, published, and available ahead of meetings.
•Ensure action items, decisions, and follow-ups are accurately captured, tracked, and closed.
Investment Governance Leadership
•Oversee intake, triage, and workflow execution for investment requests across ticketing systems.
•Ensure governance rigor around eligibility, compliance, budget validation, approvals, and SLA adherence.
•Monitor regional investment spending, delivery milestones, invoices, accruals, extensions, and cancellations.
•Surface risks, exceptions, and trends early and provide clear visibility to stakeholders and leadership. Global Connective Tissue & Process Ownership
•Act as a global coordination lead, partnering closely with AMS and EMEA counterparts to align processes, tooling, documentation, and execution standards.
•Identify operational gaps, friction points, and failure modes across regions and drive remediation.
•Lead or contribute to global process improvement initiatives, automation opportunities, and tooling enhancements.
•Ensure knowledge sharing, documentation updates, and operational readiness across time zones.
General Responsibilities
•Maintain deep understanding of End Customer Investment Funding (ECIF) and Azure Credit Offer (ACO) processes.
•Coach and support regional operators as needed to ensure execution consistency and quality.
•Support additional strategic or operational initiatives as assigned.
Required Qualifications
•Advanced or bilingual proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (HSK-5/6) or Japanese (JLPT N2/N1).
•Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Copilot, and Power BI, including operational reporting and insights.
•Demonstrated ability to manage complex operational workflows, escalations, and stakeholder expectations.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive-level polish.
•Strong attention to detail paired with the ability to operate at both tactical and strategic levels.
