Department: Project Management / Operations Reports To: Director of Operations / VP of Projects Employment Type: Full time Experience Required: 10+ Years in Construction Project Management We are looking for a seasoned and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead construction projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will own the entire project lifecycle — including team formation, resource planning, contract management, billing, and client coordination — while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a leadership role that demands both technical expertise and strong people management skills. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution
- Lead end-to-end delivery of construction projects ranging from residential, commercial, to infrastructure developments
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules (MS Project / Primavera P6), and milestone trackers
- Conduct site inspections and regular progress reviews to ensure adherence to project timelines and specifications
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively
- Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, local building codes, and environmental standards Team Formation & Leadership
- Recruit, onboard, and build high-performing project teams including site engineers, supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors
- Define roles, responsibilities, and performance targets for all team members
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide mentorship and coaching
- Resolve inter-team conflicts and maintain a collaborative, productive site culture
- Manage relationships with architects, consultants, vendors, and government bodies Billing, Contracts & Financial Management
- Prepare and manage project budgets, cost estimates, and financial forecasts
- Handle all aspects of project billing — including raising invoices, tracking receivables, and following up on payments
- Review, negotiate, and manage subcontractor and vendor contracts, purchase orders, and work orders
- Verify and approve contractor bills, material invoices, and labour cost statements
- Prepare monthly cost-to-complete reports and present financial status to leadership
- Manage change orders and variation claims, ensuring accurate documentation and approvals
- Track project cash flows and flag deviations from budget with corrective action plans Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Present project progress, financial reports, and status updates to clients and senior management
- Manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction at every milestone
- Coordinate with government authorities, statutory bodies, and third-party inspectors for approvals and certifications Quality & Documentation
- Implement and enforce quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) protocols on-site
- Maintain thorough project documentation including daily logs, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and closeout reports
- Oversee final handover process including snag lists, as-built drawings, and defect liability management Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in construction, with at least 5 years in a Project Manager or senior leadership role Pay: ₹70,000.00
