- Administer cardiac anesthesia to patients undergoing various cardiac surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to established protocols and patient safety guidelines.
- Provide comprehensive pre-operative assessment, including risk evaluation and planning appropriate anesthetic techniques for cardiac cases.
- Monitor patients physiological status continuously during surgery, utilizing invasive and non-invasive monitoring equipment specific to cardiac care.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, perfusionists, and nursing staff to facilitate coordinated and effective perioperative care.
- Support anesthesia induction, maintenance, and emergence, optimizing drug selection based on individual patient requirements and surgical demands.
- Respond promptly and effectively to perioperative complications or emergencies related to anesthesia, ensuring rapid stabilization and treatment.
- Maintain accurate, detailed medical records and anesthesia-related documentation in compliance with legal and institutional guidelines.
