- About the CompanySMC Foods Limited manufactures and markets premium quality edible oil under the brand Madhusudan. We are expanding aggressively in the Jammu region and looking for a result-oriented Area Sales Manager.
- Key Responsibilities Step WiseSales & Targets: Achieve monthly/quarterly primary & secondary sales targets for Jammu territory and ensure volume growth for Madhusudan Oil. Distributor Network Leverage existing relationships with edible oil distributors and appoint recent distributors/super stockists in uncovered areas. Market Coverage Ensure availability of Madhusudan products at every retail counter, kirana store, and wholesale market in Jammu. Drive 100% outlet penetration. Infrastructure Development Build new distribution infrastructure where the company does not have a presence beat planning, route mapping, delivery systems. Team Management Lead, train, and monitor a team of Sales Officers/ISRs to maximize productivity. Market Intelligence Track competitor activities, pricing, schemes and submit timely reports to HO. Collections Ensure timely payment collection from market and control outstanding/overdues.
- Mandatory QualificationsExperience: 10-12 years only in Edible Oil / FMCG Oil industry candidates from other industries will not be considered. Network Must have strong personal relationships with edible oil distributors & wholesalers in Jammu region. Track Record Proven track record of building markets, growing primary & secondary sales. Skills Ability to open new territories, appoint distributors, and work hands-on in the market. Education Graduate / MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred. Others Must have own bike, ready for extensive field work in Jammu, working knowledge of MS Excel & sales reporting.
