Job Summary: The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet company and customer quality standards. The role involves working with ERP systems for data entry, reporting, and tracking quality metrics. The inspector will collaborate with production and engineering teams to maintain high product quality standards in the automotive components sector. Key Responsibilities:1. Quality Inspection & Assurance:
- Perform in-process inspection as per control plan
- Use measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, etc.)
- Maintain inspection records and reports
- Identify defects and support root cause analysis ERP System Usage & Reporting:
- Enter inspection data and quality reports into the ERP system.
- Maintain accurate records of rejected parts, rework, and corrective actions within ERP.
- Generate and analyze quality reports from ERP for decision-making.
- Assist in updating and maintaining ERP modules related to quality control. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Participate in 5S, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Recommend improvements in processes and inspection techniques to enhance efficiency. Required Qualifications & Skills:
- ITI/Diploma Mechanical
- Basic drawing reading knowledge
- Knowledge ERP systems for quality reporting and data entry. Job Type: Full time Pay: ₹15,000.00
