Our initial product, Diethyl Ketone (DEK), is accompanied by plans to expand into other niche products such as Methyl Isopropyl Ketone, Lauronitrile, and Valeronitrile. Amron Chemicals is dedicated to innovative chemical production to support diverse industrial needs. Role Description This is a full-time role based in Ahmedabad for a Head of Research and Development. The role involves conducting research activities to introduce, develop new chemical products and improve existing processes directly working with the management of the company (UDCT/ICT graduate) in Ahmedabad. Daily responsibilities include consistent coordination with management of the company to suggest recent products, research and develop these products and working collaboratively to identify innovative solutions. The position also includes responsibility of scale up from lab scale to commercial production. The candidate will ensure product quality and optimize production methods in alignment with industry standards and safety regulations. The candidate will get lead from group up the R&D; of the company and get to shape the said department. Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Chemistry with focus on research.
- Experience in Research and Development (R&D;) with a focus on chemicals.
- Experience in continuous catalytic conversion and/or catalysts is preferred. Experience in flow chemistry is also a positive.
- Proficiency in Laboratory Skills such as conducting experiments and analyzing results
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Keenness to develop new products surrounding existing technology.
- Technology transfer and sourcing of technology.
- Masters or higher degree in Chemical Engineering. PhD candidates are welcome to apply.
