Mechanical Design Engineer (Jamnagar)

Join our team and work on advanced machine design, precision manufacturing, and CNC machining operations. We are looking for a skilled professional with strong expertise in SolidWorks, machine design, CNC/VMC programming, and production optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and modify mechanical components, assemblies, and machine systems using SolidWorks with high accuracy and engineering standards

• Prepare detailed 3D models, manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and assembly documentation

• Analyze machine design requirements and recommend suitable materials, tolerances, manufacturing methods, and assembly techniques

• Develop and optimize machine elements including pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, shafts, couplings, fasteners, and transmission systems

• Coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure manufacturability and efficient assembly

⚙️ CNC/VMC Operations & Programming:

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC Horizontal Turning Machines and VMC machines

• Create, modify, and optimize CNC/VMC programs including G-code programming for Fanuc and other CNC controllers

• Perform tooling selection, offset correction, machine setting, and cycle time optimization

• Interpret engineering drawings and convert design requirements into machining processes and CNC programs

• Monitor machining operations for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and technical compliance

• Conduct trial runs, process validation, and root cause analysis for machining issues

✅ Required Skills & Experience:

• Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks

• Strong understanding of machine design and manufacturing processes

• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, shafts, couplings, and fasteners

• Hands-on experience in operating and setting CNC Horizontal Turning Machines and VMC machines

• Strong CNC/VMC programming experience including G-code programming on Fanuc and other controllers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering OR Diploma with strong relevant experience

• 4+ years of industry experience
