- B.E./B.Tech: 3 to 5 years
- Diploma / Degree in Industrial Safety or relevant certification (e.g., NEBOSH, ADIS)
- Industry Preference: Experience in the Solar Industry, particularly rooftop solar installations Job Summary: We are seeking a competent and proactive Site Safety Officer to ensure adherence to safety protocols and compliance with statutory regulations at our rooftop solar project sites. The role involves identifying potential hazards, implementing preventive measures, and promoting a strong safety culture among the workforce. Candidate Profile:
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering or Science with a recognized qualification in Industrial Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, ADIS, etc.).
- 3 to 5 years of site safety experience in construction or solar/renewable energy projects.
- Solid understanding of rooftop safety protocols including work at height, scaffolding, electrical isolation, and emergency response.
- Knowledge of national safety standards (IS/OSHA) and statutory regulations (Factory Act, BOCW, etc.).
- Good communication and reporting skills with the ability to handle safety briefings and incident reports.
