Job Description – Recruiter (RPO) Experience: 2
- 4 years Location: Jamnagar, Gujarat (Candidates based in Gujarat, or those willing to relocate to Gujarat, will be preferred.) Client: (RPO – BESS Manufacturing Plant | 40 GW Project) Role Overview We are looking for a highly driven and result-oriented Senior Recruiter to support large-scale hiring for a 40 GW BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) manufacturing plant for one of the top industries. This role will be responsible for end-to-end volume hiring of Operator-level talent (Diploma & B.Sc. candidates) and will play a critical role in buildings workforce of 10,000+ employees over the next 3 years. The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, demonstrate solid ownership, and possess the ability to deliver against aggressive hiring targets. Key Responsibilities Volume Hiring & Talent Acquisition
- Manage high-volume recruitment for Operator-level roles (Diploma / B.Sc. candidates)
- Source candidates through job portals, field sourcing, campus drives, and local networks
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline for bulk hiring requirements
- Ensure timely closure of positions in line with project timelines Screening & Candidate Assessment
- Conduct initial screening to assess candidate suitability
- Evaluate candidates based on role requirements, technical fit, and deploy ability
- Maintain quality while managing large volumes of candidates Drive Management (In-Person Hiring)
- Plan and execute mass hiring drives across locations
- Coordinate with institutes (ITI, Polytechnic, Colleges) for campus drives
- Manage end-to-end logistics and execution of walk-ins and bulk hiring events Pre-Onboarding & Documentation
- Ensure accurate and timely document collection from selected candidates
- Coordinate background verification and pre-joining formalities
- Drive pre-boarding activities to ensure high joining ratios Stakeholder & Client Management
- Work closely with client stakeholders and internal teams for requirement alignment
- Provide regular updates on hiring progress, challenges, and pipeline status
- Ensure adherence to SLAs, timelines, and quality benchmarks Coordination & Operations
- Maintain recruitment trackers, MIS reports, and dashboards
- Collaborate with operations, onboarding, and payroll teams for smooth deployment
- Ensure process compliance and documentation accuracy Key Skills & Competencies
- Proven experience in volume/bulk hiring
- Strong ability to work in a target-driven, high-pressure environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong coordination, follow-up, and execution skills
- Energetic, proactive, and “get-things-done” attitude
- Ability to manage multiple hiring drives simultaneously Eligibility & Experience
- Graduate (MBA HR preferred)
- 2-4 years of experience in recruitment (volume hiring preferred)
- Experience in RPO / Manufacturing / Blue-collar hiring will be an added advantage
