Role & responsibilities Location : Hyderabad Shift : Rotational Job Description Process: Order to Cash Collections Core requirement: Strong experience in B2B / AR collections with extensive voice-based customer interaction, including outbound collection calls, payment follow-up, dispute management, promise-to-pay tracking, and stakeholder coordination. In a calling-intensive collections environment, customer conversations are a critical part of the role. This goes beyond routine reminder calls and requires effective negotiation, disciplined follow-up, objection handling, relationship management, and a strong focus on driving resolution and closure. Preferred domain exposure: Experience in aging analysis, unapplied cash, deductions and dispute management, credit block handling, account reconciliations, ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle, and collections operations driven by defined KPIs. Common responsibilities across levels
- Manage the assigned AR collections portfolio and drive timely recovery of overdue receivables
- Conduct high-volume inbound/outbound collection calls and follow up with customers on pending payments
- Secure payment commitments and ensure consistent follow-through on agreed timelines
- Resolve or appropriately route billing disputes, deductions, and short payments
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities, call outcomes, and aging updates
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, dispute resolution, cash application, and billing teams
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly collections targets
- Ensure professional customer interaction, effective escalation handling, and adherence to company policies Must-have voice skills
- Robust verbal communication skills with the ability to interact confidently in a professional business environment
- Proven ability in customer calling, negotiation, and handling objections effectively
- Capable of managing challenging customer conversations and payment-related escalations with professionalism
