Following are the roles & responsibilities of the position:

Hands on experience in identifying and negotiating with vendors. Handling vendors outside India (particularly China and Singapore), for electronic components is an added advantage Hands on experience in managing SEZ, STPI and EHTP (Electronic Hardware Technology Park) operations, in terms of document filing and coordination with authorities. Experience in liaison/coordinate with various Government authorities, including, STPI, SEZ, Customs Sourcing of current Vendors and supplier management Fair understanding on BOM (Bill of Material) for a particular Device and understanding the costing thereof. Valuable understanding on vendor negotiations to bring cost optimization and savings Bringing process improvement in Procurement activities. Coordination with cross functional support teams like IT, Admin, Finance and Operations
