Business Operations Associate About the Role NxtWave is seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Finance Operations Associate (FinOps BOA) to support financial coordination and operational activities related to Admission Consultants (ACs). The role involves handling finance-related follow-ups, payment coordination, operational communication, reconciliation support, consultant engagement, and maintaining accurate financial records and reports. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, operational discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and consultants. Key Responsibilities Admission Consultant (AC) Financial Coordination
- Coordinate with Admission Consultants (ACs) regarding payment-related processes and updates.
- Handle finance-related calls, follow-ups, and communication with consultants.
- Ensure smooth coordination between consultants and internal finance teams. Payment Follow-Ups & Operational Support
- Track pending payments, invoices, and settlement statuses.
- Support collection follow-ups and payment verification processes.
- Assist in resolving payment discrepancies and operational queries. Consultant Engagement & Communication
- Maintain regular communication with consultants regarding finance and operational updates.
- Execute WhatsApp communication and broadcast updates related to payouts, settlements, and process changes.
- Support consultant relationship management activities alongside BDMs and operations teams. Reporting & Reconciliation Support
- Maintain accurate records of transactions, payment updates, and consultant financial data.
- Support reconciliation and documentation processes.
- Generate daily and weekly finance operations reports. CRM & Data Management
- Update CRM systems and operational trackers with accurate finance-related information.
- Ensure proper documentation and data consistency across systems.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in financial records. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines.
- 0–2 years of experience in finance operations, business operations, collections, or operational support roles.
- Freshers with strong analytical and communication skills may also apply. Required Skills
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Basic understanding of finance operations and payment workflows.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and operational tracking tools.
- Ability to manage multiple follow-ups and operational tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and process orientation. Preferred Skills
- Experience in EdTech, finance operations, collections, or admissions ecosystem preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and finance tracking systems.
