- Safety Engineer
- SBTET Company: Pennar Industries Limited Industry: Steel-Based Products Manufacturing Department: EHS (Safety) Role Summary: The Safety Engineer is responsible for ensuring protected working conditions in the plant, monitoring daily activities, and making sure all employees follow safety rules and procedures. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor shop-floor safety in areas like cutting, bending, welding, machining, and material handling.
- Ensure workers use PPE properly (gloves, shoes, goggles, welding masks, etc.).
- Conduct daily safety rounds and report unsafe acts/conditions.
- Train employees and contractors on basic safety practices.
- Maintain safety documents, permits, and incident records.
- Investigate accidents/near misses and suggest preventive measures.
