Job Title: Procurement Manager / Purchase Manager – HVAC Location: Hyderabad, Telangana Job Type: Full-time Industry: HVAC Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and strategic HVAC Procurement / Purchase Manager to oversee our end-to-end supply chain and sourcing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing high-quality HVAC equipment and materials—ranging from VRF/VRV systems and chillers to ducting, piping, and specialized control systems—while optimizing costs and maintaining strong vendor partnerships. Key Responsibilities Strategic Sourcing: Source, evaluate, and procure HVAC equipment (Chillers, VRF/VRV units, Ductable splits, Cassettes) and MEP materials ensuring compliance with project specifications. Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with major HVAC OEMs, local distributors, and sub-contractors. Negotiate annual maintenance contracts (AMCs) and corporate purchase agreements. Cost Optimization: Analyze market trends, execute commercial negotiations, and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising on quality or project timelines. Tendering & Estimation: Collaborate with the estimation and engineering teams to provide accurate material costing for active project bids and tenders. Inventory & Logistics: Oversee material delivery schedules, monitor site inventory levels, and resolve supply chain bottlenecks to prevent project delays. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all procurement activities align with company policies, tax regulations (GST), and project compliance standards. Maintain precise purchase logs and budget trackers. Qualifications & Experience Education: HVAC related field. Experience: 5 years of core procurement experience specifically within the HVAC Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of HVAC technical specifications, equipment types (Split, Cassette, Ductable, VRF, Chilled Water Units), and raw material pricing (copper, sheet metal, insulation). Skills: Strong negotiation skills, analytical mindset, and proficiency in ERP software (SAP/Oracle) and MS Excel for project tracking.
