BIM Engineer (Telangana)

Job Title: Application Specialist – BIM Engineering (Design Technology) Location: Hyderabad About The Role: We are looking for a technically driven Application Specialist to bridge structural/civil engineering, BIM, and cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence. You will research, test, and implement AI technologies — both as standalone solutions and integrated with industry-standard engineering and BIM platforms — to measurably improve design quality, workflow efficiency, and project delivery. Key Responsibilities: Research, benchmark, and evaluate emerging AI tools for structural, MEP, and BIM engineering applications; publish internal go/no-go recommendation reports. Develop AI models for structural optimisation, deflection/stress prediction, and automated code-compliance checking — validated against ETABS and SAFE outputs. Build Python/API bridges connecting AI inference engines to ETABS and SAFE (via OAPI), enabling real-time load optimisation and anomaly detection loops. Create AI-powered Revit add-ins and Dynamo scripts for parametric automation, natural language model queries, and BIM quality control at scale. Design RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines over IFC/COBie/BIM360 data for intelligent specification retrieval and asset lifecycle analysis. Automate repetitive engineering workflows using Python or C# orchestration — report generation, quantity extraction, drawing compliance checks — and document each SOP. Train and upskill engineering teams through structured workshops; act as the internal AI adoption champion across project delivery teams. Required: BE in Structural / Civil / Mechanical Engineering 4 years in engineering or BIM delivery Proficient in Python, C# with a demonstrable project portfolio Hands-on ETABS or PROTECTED experience Working knowledge of Revit and/or Dynamo Proven interest or work in AI / machine learning Preferred: MSc in Computational Engineering or Applied AI Chartered Engineer (IStructE / ICE / ASCE) Experience building Revit add-ins or Dynamo packages Familiarity with IFC schema and OpenBIM standards MLOps experience (MLflow, Docker, model versioning) Published work or open-source contributions in Eng-AI Engineering & BIM: ETABS — Structural analysis & member design SAFE — Foundation & slab design Autodesk Revit — Graphical BIM authoring Dynamo / pyRevit — Parametric scripting & automation Navisworks — Clash detection & model review IFC / BIM360 / ACC — Non-graphical BIM & data platforms AI Data & Automation: Python — Core scripting & pipeline development TensorFlow / PyTorch — ML model training LangChain / LlamaIndex — LLM & RAG pipelines OpenAI / Anthropic APIs — LLM integration Pinecone / Weaviate — Vector databases Docker / FastAPI — Model deployment & API serving Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.in/job/4n9r13
