We’re Hiring: Deputy Manager / Asst. Manager : Fund Accounting for our client ( Leading Venture capital firm established in 2019)

About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven Deputy manager /Asst Manager to manage end-to-end fund accounting operations, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. This role offers hands-on exposure to Category I & II SEBI-registered funds and plays a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and investor confidence. If you have solid experience in fund accounting and enjoy working closely with investment, audit, and compliance teams, this could be an excellent opportunity to grow in a fast-paced investment environment. Key Responsibilities Fund Accounting & Financial Operations
- Manage day-to-day fund accounting activities, including journal entries, transaction recording, and reconciliation of portfolios and cash accounts
- Ensure accurate and timely calculation of NAV, income accruals, and expense amortization
- Maintain general ledger integrity across multiple funds in line with accounting standards and fund policies

Valuation & Reporting
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual fund closures
- Prepare and review NAV packs, valuation statements, and financial reports
- Assist in preparation of financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L;) and investor reporting
- Coordinate with internal teams and auditors for reviews, audits, and performance reporting

Investor Servicing & Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with fund managers, custodians, banks, and investment teams for smooth fund operations
- Manage capital calls, distributions, and related reconciliations
- Support investor queries and external audit processes

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of accounting experience with strong exposure to fund accounting
- Qualifications: CA / CA Inter/ Bachelors in Finance and Accounting
- Fund Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Category I & II SEBI-registered funds preferred
