Head Designer (GTB Nagar)

We are looking for a Head Designer to lead the next chapter of our design journey — someone who exists at the intersection of textile and apparel design, with a deep understanding of weaving traditions, luxury craftsmanship, and contemporary fashion. This is a rare prospect to shape the creative direction of one of India’s leading luxury handloom houses. ✨

We’re looking for someone who: ▪ Has extensive experience with Banarasi textiles and weaving traditions ▪ Understands both textile development and garment/apparel sensibilities ▪ Has worked with luxury Indian craft or heritage brands ▪ Can translate traditional craftsmanship into modern, globally relevant collections ▪ Is equally comfortable in the design studio, artisan clusters, and weaving units ▪ Brings strong leadership, creative vision, and a refined luxury aesthetic

In this role, you will: ▫ Lead the conceptualisation and development of seasonal collections ▫ Work closely with master weavers, artisans, and production teams. ▫ Drive innovation in weave structures, colour stories, silhouettes, and textile applications ▫ Oversee the journey from textile ideation to final apparel expression ▫ Build collections rooted in Indian heritage while speaking to the modern luxury consumer ▫ Collaborate on special projects, artistic partnerships, and brand storytelling initiatives We would especially love to hear from professionals with experience across handloom and luxury brands, particularly those who have worked closely with Banarasi weaving ecosystems or heritage textile houses.
