Data Science Intern (Goregaon East)

Intern – Data Migration & Email Archival Support Location Mumbai / Remote (as applicable) Duration 6 Months Internship About the Role We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented interns to support enterprise-level email archival and data migration projects. The intern will work closely with the infrastructure and migration team to assist in data handling, validation, reporting, audit tracking, and migration support activities. This role provides excellent exposure to enterprise IT environments, large-scale data operations, cybersecurity practices, and archival technologies. Key Responsibilities
* Support email and data migration activities across enterprise platforms
- Assist in backup verification and data validation processes
- Monitor migration progress and maintain activity logs
- Perform sample data checks to ensure migration accuracy and integrity
- Coordinate with technical teams for issue tracking and resolution
- Prepare audit reports, validation reports, and project documentation
- Support user mapping, data reconciliation, and operational activities
- Maintain confidentiality and security of organizational data
- Assist in testing, UAT support, and post-migration verification activities Required Skills
* Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and email systems
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of MS Excel, reporting, and documentation
- Understanding of data handling and validation processes
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Willingness to learn enterprise migration and archival technologies Preferred Qualifications
* Pursuing or completed B.E./B.Tech/BSc/BCA/MCA in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Basic knowledge of servers, storage, networking, or cybersecurity is an added advantage What You Will Learn
