Job Description – Production Manager Experience: 7 to 9 Years Salary: Depends on experience and current salary Industry: Jewellery Industry Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Production Manager for the Jewellery Industry. The candidate will handle daily production work, manage the team, maintain product quality, and ensure timely delivery of orders. Key Responsibilities
- Report to the Director and manage the production team.
- Ensure orders are completed and delivered on time.
- Handle production-related communication and coordination.
- Improve production processes for better quality and efficiency.
- Check product quality as per customer requirements.
- Manage daily production planning and meetings.
- Handle production costing and budgets.
- Train and guide the production staff when needed.
- Maintain quality control standards during production.
- Supervise waxing and finishing work for smooth production.
- Handle assembling and repairing of jewellery models if required.
- Solve issues related to wax setting, size, weight, and finishing.
- Handle casting issues like diamond breakage, burns, and stone-falling problems.
- Monitor gold loss and mechanical finishing processes. Required Skills
- Positive knowledge of jewellery production processes.
- Experience in waxing, casting, setting, and finishing.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Problem-solving ability.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification preferred.
- 7 to 9 years of experience in jewellery production.
