If you live and breathe fashion, this is your runway.Role Summary We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and commercially aware Fashion Designer to join our in-house design team at our Ahmedabad Head Office. The ideal candidate will conceptualize and execute seasonal collections that resonate with BluGravity’s contemporary customer — confident, style-forward, and trend-conscious. You will play a pivotal role in translating market trends and brand DNA into compelling, retail-ready apparel lines.Key Responsibilities Design&Conceptualization• Develop seasonal design concepts, mood boards, and trend forecasts aligned with BluGravity’s brand identity • Create original designs for women’s western wear, denim, and contemporary apparel categories • Sketch, illustrate, and prepare tech packs (flat sketches, construction details, BOM — Bill of Materials)Product Development• Work closely with the merchandising and sourcing teams to select fabrics, trims, and materials • Oversee sampling processes — coordinate with vendors/production units for prototype development • Review fit sessions and provide precise correction comments until a production-ready sample is approvedTrend Research&Market Analysis• Conduct regular competitive benchmarking across domestic and international fashion brands • Attend trade fairs, fabric exhibitions (e.g., Texworld, Yarn Expo), and stay current with runway trends • Adapt global trends to suit the Indian contemporary market and BluGravity’s price architectureCollaboration&Execution• Liaise with the production team to ensure design intent is maintained through the manufacturing process • Partner with the marketing/visual merchandising team for lookbooks, campaign shoots, and in-store storytelling • Maintain and update the design library, seasonal archives, and techpack repositoryQuality&Delivery• Ensure designs meet quality standards, cost targets, and seasonal timelines • Manage multiple designs and categories simultaneously within a fast-paced product calendar Required Qualifications&Skills Education - Bachelor’s Or Master’s in Fashion Design Experience - 2-5 Years in Fashion Design, Preferably in Women’s Western Wear Or Denim Technical Skills - Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator,Photoshop ; Tech Pack Creation;pattern understanding Soft Skills - Creative Thinking,Strong Aesthetic sensibility, attention of details,team CollaborationIndustries Knowledge - Understanding Of Fabric construction , Garment Manufacturing Processes and retail Merchandising Bonus - knowledge of sustainable fashion practices; exposure of e-commerce or D2C brand environment Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)• ✅ Design-to-Sample TAT — Approved samples delivered within target lead times (benchmark: ≤ 21 days per style)• ✅ Sample Approval Rate — % of samples approved within 2 fit iterations (target: ≥ 70%) • ✅ Collection Hit Rate — % of designed styles that make it to retail floor (target: ≥ 60% per season) • ✅ Trend Accuracy — Sell-through performance of designed styles (target: ≥ 65% within first 8 weeks)• ✅ Tech Pack Accuracy — Reduction in production errors attributed to design documentation (target: • ✅ Seasonal Delivery — On-time submission of all design briefs and final tech packs per product calendar
