Interior Designer (Kalyan)

– Office Furniture Designer Position: Office Furniture Designer Company: COLLINEAR PROJECTS LLP Location: Kalyan East, Nevali Naka , Haji Malang Road. Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Office Furniture Designer to design functional, ergonomic, and aesthetically appealing office furniture solutions. The candidate should have experience in modular office furniture, workspace planning, material selection, and production drawings. Key Responsibilities
- Design office furniture including workstations, cabins, conference tables, storage units, reception desks, and collaborative furniture.
- Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models, and production drawings.
- Develop customized furniture solutions based on client requirements and site conditions.
- Coordinate with production teams, vendors, and project managers for execution.
- Select suitable materials, finishes, hardware, and accessories.
- Ensure ergonomic standards and practical usability in designs.
- Prepare BOQs, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Conduct site visits and take measurements when required.
- Stay updated with latest office furniture trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques. Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks, or similar design software.
- Knowledge of modular furniture systems and manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of materials such as plywood, laminates, metal, glass, and upholstery.
- Good visualization and space-planning skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to coordinate with clients and execution teams. Qualification & Experience
- Diploma / Degree in Interior Design, Furniture Design, Product Design, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in office furniture or modular furniture design preferred. Preferred Qualities
- Creative mindset with practical execution knowledge.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work on deadlines and handle multiple projects. Salary
