The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in Kotlin/Java and Python , experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) or Android platforms , and hands-on expertise in CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks . The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions for automotive infotainment and navigation systems , ensuring high product quality, robustness, and efficient testing processes. What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test tools for Android / AAOS-based systems
- Develop and enhance automation scripts using Kotlin / Java and Python
- Automate functional, integration, and regression test scenarios
- Integrate automated test execution with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub
- Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to ensure automation readiness and feature testability
- Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and quality gaps
- Maintain and improve test infrastructure and automation coverage
- Debug issues using Android debugging tools , logs, and system traces
- Participate in code reviews and automation design discussions
- Contribute to continuous improvement of automation processes and testing strategies What You Need to Be Successful Programming & Scripting
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin or Java
- Good hands-on experience with Python scripting Android / Automotive
- Experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) or Android-based systems
- Familiarity with Android development and debugging tools, including:
- ADB
- Android Studio
- Logcat
- Gradle Automation & Testing
- Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals
- Experience with test automation frameworks
- Exposure to UI automation tools such as Appium or UIAutomator
- Knowledge of test case design techniques CI/CD & DevOps
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
