This role involves a balanced mix of development and validation , focusing on MATLAB/Simulink-based design, code generation, and testing across SIL and HIL environments . You will contribute to end-to-end development lifecycle , ensuring high-quality delivery aligned with automotive standards. What You Will Do
- Develop and enhance MATLAB/Simulink models based on system requirements
- Perform low-level design, model development, and optimization
- Generate production code using tools like TargetLink / Embedded C workflows
- Design and execute test strategies across:
- Model-in-the-Loop (MIL)
- Software-in-the-Loop (SIL)
- Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL)
- Create and maintain test cases using TPT , ensuring:
- Requirement traceability
- End-to-end validation coverage
- Perform integration testing and validation in HIL setups using automotive tools
- Conduct static code analysis, unit testing, and debugging
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure:
- Requirement clarity
- System-level integration
- Defect resolution
- Follow automotive development processes
- V-Model lifecycle
- ASPICE / functional safety compliance What You Need to Be Successful
- 3 6 years of experience in Model-Based Development and Testing
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- MATLAB / Simulink / Stateflow
- TPT (Time Partition Testing) for test automation
- Experience in SIL and HIL testing environments for embedded validation
- Good understanding of
- Embedded C / C
- Automotive system architecture
- Experience in
- Unit testing, integration testing, and verification
- Requirements traceability and validation workflows
- Exposure to code generation tools (TargetLink preferred) Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with
- CAN / CAPL / CANoe
- dSPACE / Vector HIL setups
- Automotive diagnostics (UDS / DoIP)
- Knowledge of
- MAAB guidelines, MXAM tools
- AUTOSAR architecture and BSW layers
- Experience in Agile (Scrum / SAFe) environments What Makes You Eligible
- Bachelor s / Master s degree in:
- Electronics / Electrical / Computer Science
- Strong understanding of both development and testing lifecycle
- Ability to work in end-to-end ownership roles (design validation)
