Description
TYPE OF ROLE: Individual Contributor Role BU/ DIVISION: Qualified Lighting JOB PURPOSE: To lead and manage business development initiatives in the solar energy sector for West India KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead technical sales activities for solar EPC projects (Rooftop, Ground Mount, OA & Utility)
- Understand client requirements and prepare technical & techno-commercial proposals
- Coordinate with Design, SCM, Finance, Legal & Projects teams for bid preparation
- Preparation of BOQ, cost estimates, pricing strategy, and margin analysis
- Preparation & submission of tenders, RFPs, EOIs, and RFQs
- Conduct technical presentations and discussions with clients, consultants & developers
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client negotiations
- Support contract finalization, scope freeze, and handover to execution team
- Maintain sales pipeline, MIS reports, and forecasting
- Track market trends, policy changes, and competitor movements in the solar sector
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with developers, corporates, consultants, and government bodies EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: B.E/ B.Tech (Electrical/ Mechanical/ Energy/ Instrumentation) or MBA/ PGDM (Marketing) WORK EXPERIENCE: 5 to 10 years of experience in Technical Sales / Pre-Sales / Business Development in the Solar EPC / Renewable Energy sector Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.in/job/4m5ns2
