Accountant (Barpeta)

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day books of accounts of the FPC.
- Record cash transactions, sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Prepare vouchers, invoices, bills, and supporting documents.
- Maintain ledgers, cash book, bank book, and stock registers.
- Reconcile bank statements regularly.
- Assist auditors during statutory and internal audits.
- Ensure timelyROC filings under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs
- Handle bank transactions and online payments.
- Maintain records of loans, grants, and subsidies.
- Maintain stock records of agricultural inputs, produce, and materials.
- Verify procurement and sales transactions. Required Skills
- Knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Familiarity with Tally, MS Excel, ERP/accounting software.
- Understanding of GST, taxation, and financial compliance.
- Basic knowledge of agriculture/FPO business operations. Educational Qualification
