Video Editor/Graphic Designer (Barpeta)

Summary We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Video Editor / Graphic Designer to join the Biocon Group
- Centre of Excellence (COE). COE is a hub for innovation and excellence, driving impactful initiatives across the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. A talented Video Editor who can bring ideas to life through compelling visual storytelling. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating impactful visual assets, video editing, motion graphics, and brand-aligned digital content. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, create engaging video content, and support impactful communication initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Create and edit compelling video content for internal and external communications-including vodcasts, interviews, leadership sessions, expert talks, and program highlights-ensuring high viewership, retention, and communication effectiveness
- Develop motion graphics, animations, and multimedia assets for learning modules, events, and presentations to simplify complex concepts and enhance storytelling
- Leverage AI-powered tools for video editing, content generation, automation, and content repurposing to reduce turnaround time, improve scalability, and increase output quality
- Collaborate with marketing, communications, and internal stakeholders to ensure brand consistency, alignment with strategic messaging, and high-quality delivery
- Design and deliver high-quality creatives across digital and print (posters, banners, reports) and visual content for social media, websites, newsletters, and campaigns to drive engagement, reach and brand recall.
- Track content performance (views, engagement, feedback) and continuously optimize content and formats for improved outcomes, while staying updated with emerging trends and innovative tools Educational Background
- Bachelors degree such as B.Sc. in Multimedia & Animation, B.Sc. in Visual
- Communication, B.A. in Graphic Design, B.A. in Film Making / Video
- Production, B.Des. in Communication Design, BFA, or a related field. Preferred
- 0-4 years of professional experience in video editing/graphic design. Technical Skills
- Proficiency in graphic design and video tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) with strong capability in video editing, motion graphics, and multimedia production
- Experience with AI-powered creative tools (Runway, Descript, Synthesia, Adobe Firefly) for editing, automation, and scalable content creation
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, branding, typography, and multi-platform content optimization (social, web, learning, presentations)
- Familiarity with post-production workflows, audio editing, captioning, and content performance metrics for optimization Soft Skills
- Robust storytelling, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
