Job Description

Key Responsibilities:


- Supervise and execute all civil works at the solar project site.


- Manage land development, levelling, grading, and site preparation.


- Execute MMS foundation work and MMS structure installation.


- Oversee Inverter Control Room (ICR) civil construction and finishing.


- Supervise Admin/Office building construction and internal works.


- Monitor foundations for inverter skid, transformers, and pedestals.


- Supervise drainage, cable trenching, and boundary/fencing works.


- Ensure execution strictly as per approved drawings, BOQ, and specifications.


- Conduct civil quality checks and site tests (slump, cube, compaction).


- Prepare DPR, measurement sheets, QA/QC records, and maintain checklists.


- Support the Electrical In-charge for cable routing and equipment installation readiness.


- Ensure all activities follow SOP, IS codes, and IEC standards.


- Coordinate with subcontractors, manage manpower, and track material usage.


- Coordinate with DISCOM and CEIG for inspections, metering, and statutory approvals.


- Ensure safe, timely, and quality completion of all civil and allied works.

Qualifications & Experience:


- B.E./B.Tech – Civil Engineering


- 4–7 years’ experience in solar EPC projects

Skills


- Strong hands-on experience in solar plant execution.


- Good coordination and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed project plans, including defining the scope, objectives, timeline, budget, and resource allocation for the AMISP project. Establish project goals, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring they align with both business and client objectives. Monitor and track project progress, ensuring that activities stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards. Identify potential project risks and issues and develop strategies to mitigate their impact on the project’s timeline and deliverables. Regularly communicate with stakeholders to provide status updates, report on risks or issues, and suggest corrective actions when necessary. Coordinate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, ensuring optimal use of assets to achieve project success. Build and maintain solid relationships with clients, vendors, and key stakeholders to promote collaboration and ensure alignment with project goals. Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring that expenses are monitored and controlled within the approved limits. Track and control any changes to the project scope, ensuring they are documented, reviewed, and approved through formal change control processes. Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements. Proactively address conflicts or challenges within the project team or with external stakeholders to keep the project on track. Manage project documentation, ensuring that records of project decisions, changes, and milestones are organized and accessible. Facilitate regular project meetings, including status updates, risk assessments, and issue resolution discussions with the project team and stakeholders. Ensure effective communication across all project stakeholders, facilitating clear and transparent information flow at all project stages. Provide leadership and motivation to the project team, fostering an environment of focus, productivity, and enthusiasm for project goals. Track and report on key project performance metrics, including cost, time, quality, and resource utilization, to ensure continuous improvement and effective project delivery. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus). Proven experience (10+ years) in project management, ideally in the AMISP or infrastructure sector. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams and collaborate with various stakeholders. Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.). Ability to manage budgets, timelines, resources, and risks effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in managing large-scale infrastructure or technical projects is preferred.
